Getting energy back…an interesting process

The energy of holding 20 Cold Readers shows over the past year and a half had really worn down on me literally and figuratively.  In fact, much of my energy had been feeling sapped on and off this year and had reached a peak of aches and pains over the last several months…to the point that I did begin chiropractic care.

So I looked forward to the ending of the show last night and even though I didn’t attend personally, I was still energetically tied to the production on some level.

About 10pm last night (after the show had finished) I noticed that I felt very elated.  This morning when I woke up, its like the Universe had given me my life back.

No aches and pains! and the amount of energy coursing through me is still unbelievable….what I’ve really learned through this whole process is another part of the lesson which is ‘letting go of that which does not serve you’. 

It was hard for me to realize that because the troupe around me was so encouraging.

But I had to come to my truth…and also reality that in doing a book tour there just weren’t enough hours in the day for both projects.

So, I think maybe at some point in the future I might return to the Cold Readers concept, I own all the rights to it, still have all the connections, but the form will be different for sure.  We’ll see. 

For now, I’m in awe of the power of the psyche and also how an organization can have its own energy and vortex of sorts, like a black hole.  I’m glad to move away from that and into the light of my Reiki work!  So mote it be!
