Reiki and Reggae

We be jamming with the Reiki and Reggae.  I love to relax and dream to this music, it’s beat is so easy and soothing.

Some of the words to many Reggae songs are quite political, but they are usually emphasizing freedom and self-empowerment.

Several years ago I was lucky enough to spend a week in Belize, which is heavily influenced by Caribbean, Reggae, African, Mexican and other flavors.

One place I stayed was called Caye Kauker, it’s a tiny little island where no cars are allowed.  The definition of ‘chill’ permeates the warm balmy air.

If I ever get to the place where I’ll offer international Reiki retreats, this would be it.

They were building a retreat center when I was there, so you never know.

Reggae and related culture emphasizes slowing down, taking it easy, enjoying the moment.

Reiki and Reggae are like two slow dancers underneath a tropical moon.
