Seattle Reiki Team Gives 22 Sessions to Elderly

Today, 12 Seattle Reiki practitioners, many students and graduates of the Reiki Training Program gave Reiki to 22 elderly residents of the retirement home, Horizon House.  Most had never experienced the healing modality before and were curious and open to receiving.  We had enough time to do a second round of treatments to those who wanted them and they all looked forward to when we would come back next time!

So, our pilot project was a success, thanks again to those that came out and participated.  I am working on the details of the next outreach and it looks like a beginning Reiki 1 class will be offered at the home too.

And so begins our work in traditional health care settings…stay tuned for more to come!!
