Sending the Reiki to support democracy in action

I am soooo excited for the Egypt people.  I am listening to live broadcast and the energy, enthusiasm and potential of people coming together to express themselves and their ideas of democracy is really, really empowering.  I’ve Facebooked with a few friends and the whole event taking place reminds us of the time the Berlin Wall came down.  But back then, I was only 19, barely grasping all the politics that were going on in the world.

Since that time, I’ve travelled the world far and wide, I’ve had the good fortune to have had a long term relationship with a politically savvy history teacher and I’ve taught over a thousands students from over 20 countries Reiki.

I am holding this moment in time as another historical milestone, as many others are, my hope from it is that a new regime in Egypt that supports democratic ideals comes forth and serves as a beacon for others in the middle East.

I’m amazed at the energetic manifestation going on by chanting and holding in consciousness by millions of people ‘down with the regime’…I believe they can make it happen, especially since the military there is not supressing their voices.

A big day, a bigger week to follow, I’m sure, as I continue to send light out across the world.
